Originally known as the official gallery of the Strand Hotel, home to 33 contemporary Burmese artists, Galerie River Gallery has moved its collection to a new location just a few minutes walk away. In a beautiful space on 38th. Here, a new gallery opened its doors in 2013 in an old building rebuilt in loft style. Here one can admire gigantic paintings by some forty artists well established in the Burmese or international art scene, but also emerging artists, often very promising. The space is also privatizable.
