Here we visit the Kheng Hock Keong temple, built on the Strand Road. No longer a Buddhist temple, but Taoist. Here, red predominates, a color that in the Chinese tradition brings luck. This beautiful Chinese temple, the oldest in Yangon, is in the Fujian style. Like those also found in Taiwan and in the Chinese communities of Southeast Asia. Very lively and particularly visited in the morning, it reflects the religious life of the Chinese community of Yangon. A rather quick visit, but still interesting.
