Located 500 m from the market, this guesthouse is not very attractive. You can sleep well there, though. Of course, the room does not overlook the neighbouring farmyard where the rooster is very, very early in the morning and very, very brave! At the Golden Kalaw Inn, breakfast is a treat: ask for the Indian breakfast consisting of chapatis, fried eggs and potato curry, a change from the classic Western menu, and you will certainly not be disappointed. Don't hesitate to discuss with the reception: possibility of trekking for a day or two.
