Just after crossing the only bridge in town, the hill across the river is called Sunset Hill. A name that comes as no surprise given the pleasant view it offers to see the sunset over Hsipaw. It is best to go there on two wheels as the climb is quite steep, although the bravest will keep the quite feasible option of cycling. On foot, it's a bit far. Once at the top, a small pagoda and some buildings where monks live. Then you, and there in the distance to the west, behind the city, the sunset.

Nice… No more! A 45 -minute walk from the center of hsipaw! The view is not fantastic, but pleasant stroll at the end of the day
