On the outskirts of the Royal Palace, on 80th Street, at the corner of 16th, is one of Mandalay's most popular Chinese restaurants. You can't miss it: Donald is guarding the entrance. Duck is their speciality, you would have guessed it. So, while passing through Mandalay, we come to the Golden Duck absolutely to taste the Burmese Peking Duck. It's a real treat. Of course, the room is nothing exceptional with its carpet and dark walls, but it's on the plate, and you won't be disappointed. It is, however, more prudent to make a reservation.
