A little bit off-centre, you have to organize your transport to move around, but this is not a problem generally in Mandalay where you can easily get around by taxi, motorbike or tuk-tuk. Close to the Mandalay Palace, the Emerald Land Inn is a rather pleasant hotel, with a swimming pool, a little cloudy at times. Most of the rooms are located in small, fully-equipped chalet-style houses. From standard to superior they offer a natural charm to the establishment and give you the impression of a little more independence.
