Halfway up the slope. The construction of the artificial cave as a temple is attributed to King Narawara of the Second Ava Dynasty in 1672. A monastery with the appearance of a vaulted cave. The cave has perfectly preserved jataka paintings on its walls, which are still colourful and bear witness to the artistic achievements of the Ava period. In addition to walks in Sagaing, where it is good to stroll, the nearby village of Ywataung is famous for its goldsmiths.
