The New Light Hotel is really nothing special, but it can be a good place for a one-night stopover in Myitkyina. The hotel is nestled on top of the city's tallest skyscraper, which is a shame, some would say. But on the top floor the advantage will remain the view: impressive from the very pleasant terrace which is worth the detour just for the panorama of the city. A pleasant place to chat with travellers. Breakfast is served every day. The real advantage at the New lLght will remain the price, rather cheap.
