The group of temples is built on the model of the Bogaya Temple in India. Completely built of black sandstone by King Min Saw Mon in 1430, its architecture is somewhat different from the other temples and pagodas of Bagan. Its four entrances are located on the four cardinal points, north, south, east and west. Inside this "small" temple, eight Buddha statues sit around the central column. Around the temple, stupas in the shape of big bells are placed on the floor.
