IZZA GAWNA PAGODA
A little off-centre compared to the other temples, the Izza Gawna pagoda can be worth the detour. It is one of the contemporary pyramid temples of Sulamani, less monumental than the latter because it has no floor, but not without interest. And very pretty dressed in its ochre stones. Izza Gawna shelters pretty engraved tablets still clearly visible. On the left, the Nandamannya Pahto temple is worth taking your shoes off to admire its various wall decorations: drawings, Buddha figures, celestial beings, etc.. It would date from the 12th century.
