The guest house isn't young, but it's fine for a night or two. Taan Taan Ta Guest House is spread over three floors, close to the night market, and not far from a museum as well. Here, the rooms are very simple and modest, but they are impeccably clean and the welcome is pleasant. There is a small teahouse nearby where you can have breakfast in the morning. The owner offers transfers to Ngwe Saung by motorbike, if you prefer this option to the bus!
