The Four Giant Buddhas, or Kyaik Pun, are also due to Dhammazedi. They can be seen from the road leading to Yangon. Stars of many postcards, the colossuses, 30 meters high, are leaning against a central pillar. The whole is built in brick and dates from 1476. Regularly repainted, it looks brand new despite the lack of protection. It is absolutely necessary to preserve the kitsch of the statues. On the outskirts of the Kyaik Pun site, one can find hardwood carving workshops, one of the specialties of Bago.

4 bouddhas géants assis dos à dos et regardant les 4 points cardinaux. A voir ! Ils sont un peu kitch mais quand même magnifiques ! Prenez un Pass pour toutes les visites de Bago : 10 000 kyats (+/- 7 €)
The main attraction of this pagoda is that you can see everything free because for sightseeing, in Bago it is a real racket: quality/price is excessive. the ministry of culture is foreign tourist for a sucker!
At least, away from the city you can admire kitsch Buddhas giant. Moreover it is a picture-postcard most famous of Burma, forgiveness Myanmar!
