Completely renovated lodge with bungalows, accommodation in single and superior rooms.

Completely renovated in 2014-2015, Ka Waboana is now a modern and comfortable address in the center of the village and close to amenities. There is a choice of all-wooden bungalows, accommodating two to five people, or accommodation in single and superior rooms. We love the charm of these bungalows, some of which are on stilts, and the proximity to a beautiful stretch of water. The lodge also offers a quality restaurant service, with dishes as copious as their prices are affordable.

Séjour reposant. Très bon accueil et équipe souriante. Restauration simple mais faites avec des produits locaux.
Petit bémols sur le wifi inexistant dans les chambres.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Un séjour très reposant dans un écrin de verdure. Pamela a été à nos soins avec toute son équipe. Le lodge a une vue imprenable sur la montagne et la rivière, propre avec frigo pour stocker ses boissons fraîches. Le restaurant est incontournable même si vous ne logez pas à l'hôtel: cuisine fraîche et locale, menu qui change du déjeuner au dîner selon envie de la chef et des produits. (crevettes de creek, loche de la rivière, taro, coeur de citrouille et de chouchoute, tartes maison, quiches maison). Nous nous sommes régalées.

Peut-être une mauvaise journée pour notre hôte mais nous ne nous sommes vraiment pas sentis les bienvenus. Dîner très décevant. Les lits superposés dans le bungalow étaient inutilisables (barres en métal totalement déformées). Cependant, le petit déjeuner était très bien. Le cadre est plein de charme et la personne à l'accueil le matin était adorable.

Beautiful location, lovely people, delicious meals and spotlessly clean. BTW, I was here when ‘Pete of the one star review’ was at reception. Pete, not the Lodge, had made an error with his reservation. He was rude, abusive and agressive to staff while they were trying to help him.

Stuffed up my booking. Gave me a dirty room full of mosquitoes and with a shared toilet. They called that "Superior". Deeply unimpressed. I didn't stay.
