TYÉ CHURCH
The small red-roofed church of the Sacred Heart of Cié bears witness to the development of the Marist Fathers' mission in the 19th century. First built of wood and cob in 1866, it was razed and replaced in 1899 by the present neo-Gothic masonry church. Inside, the choir seduces by its intimist proportions and the slender lines of its arches as well as by the luminosity of its blonde stone and the richly colored reflections of its stained glass windows. Restored in 1999, it has been classified with its presbytery since 1991 as "local heritage".
