Here, you will know everything about vanilla by visiting the vanilla plantation of Hnathalo! 400 plants are planted there and you should try to go in June, when the plant is prepared to be pollinated. Some endemic Caledonian species are also present in the mini-zoo: dogfish, Pacific boa, coconut crabs... In the store of the Maison de la Vanille, beans, honeys, jams and cosmetics are on sale.
