Proof of the fame of this "old" sign of the capital - the Halima hotel is a landmark known by any self-respecting Nouakchottois - the tar that passes in front of its imposing ochre facade often borrows its name on the rare maps of the city. Well located in the chic and quiet area of the presidency, its 30 rooms and 4 suites are air-conditioned and rather well equipped. A little disappointing all the same, the decoration and the size of the rooms. The suites, on the other hand, are more colorful and welcoming, with their large Mauritanian living rooms.
