Saara Tenzah Hostel is located just outside the town of Ayoun, on the road to Nema. All rooms have a private bathroom with air conditioning and television. It is also possible to spend the night under a khaïma, at a lower cost, for the smaller budgets. The restaurant offers, in addition to the traditional couscous and mechouis, Mauritanian specialties such as kesras, barley or wheat cakes baked in the oven or in sand (it won't crunch under the tooth, I promise!), and belaghes, wheat cakes.
