This establishment consists of 53 rooms shared between the annexes and the main structure. Opened in 1989, the latter, which deserves a facelift, has a large courtyard giving access to the rudimentary rooms and collective sanitary facilities. Much more elegant, the "doctors' house", located on the other side of the street, enjoys, on the contrary, refined equipped rooms and a patio where a fountain gurgling and birds chirping. Unfortunately, the continuous hum of the nearby thermal power plant disturbs the quietness of the place...

La qualité globale des prestations de l'auberge des caravanes à Chinguetti est la meilleure de celles que j'ai pu expérimenter dans le divers lieux d'hébergement que j'ai fréquentés lors de mon séjour dans l'Adrar : un accueil et un service très attentionnés, une équipe témoignant d'un grand professionnalisme, qui en font à mon sens le site d'hébergement proposant le meilleur rapport qualité/prix parmi ceux que j'ai fréquentés.
