Coniferous forests and erratic granite blocks cover this glacial terrain with gentle waves, travelled by semi-domestic reindeer and wild muskoxen. This park is adjacent to two large natural reserves and a national park on the Swedish side. Brown bears do not know borders and often come from Sweden to sow panic in herds of sheep, sharpen the ancestral hatred of farmers.
