Here are about 23 old houses from the Ottadalen valley. The stabbur (a kind of log larder on stilts), dating from the 16th century, is one of the largest and oldest of its kind. It is an opportunity to step back in time and learn about the daily life of the farmers of that time. The museum also offers temporary exhibitions and if you come with children, there are many activities for them, mainly on Wednesdays.
