A beautiful shipowner's house built around 1800. A semi-permanent exhibition is dedicated to Edvard Munch (1863-1944) and his stay in Kragerø in 1909 to rest and recover. Some say that this period in Kragerø was one of the most prolific of the painter. His sublime Sun was for example born there. There is also a small café and many activities throughout the summer. A beautiful place full of history.
