Seljord is a town in Norway known for its magnificent natural landscape. One of the region's most popular attractions is Mount Bjørge. You can choose from various trails through the cultural landscape, with idyllic spots where you can enjoy panoramic views over Lake Seljordsvatnet. The lower part of the route is of medium difficulty, while the final climb to the summit of Mount Bjørge is steep and demanding. Note that the signposting is not optimal, so pay attention to the signs along the trail. There are many picturesque spots along the way where you can stop, rest and enjoy the panoramic view over Lake Seljordsvatnet. You can start the hike from Nordigard Bjørge or Seljord Camping, with easy access from the main road. For an easier hike, you can choose to start at Grunningsdalen and follow the marked trail from there. Please note that there is a charge for this route and limited parking at the trailhead.
