This hostel with 260 beds is located on the road up to Ulriken, 4 km from the centre. The road to the hostel is a bit tricky, but the view of the city of Bergen below is very nice. You can prepare your own meals in one of the two kitchens available to visitors. You can also book your lunch to take with you on the hike to Mount Ulrik and the high plateau that stretches as far as the eye can see.

I am not agreement when you describe the difficult access from the momentou there is a direct bus station On The Other Hand I did not appreciate the fact that the rooms are only equipped with 1 electrical outlet for 4 boarders.

On site, the atmosphere is very family. Everyone made eat in one and even cuisine but shuttle are quite quickly. The rooms are tiny. Difficult to put your bags by ground and cut through a path to the bathroom... you should choose!
Some rooms overlook a beautiful concrete wall... what a pity when you are in such a beautiful city!
However, the sheets (rented) is clean, as the room. No worries for this side.
In conclusion, Montana inn is a good idea for sports and patient backpackers. The price is very affordable in comparison with hotels. It will appeal to a young clientele.
