The room is very small and the bathroom is oddly designed where you don’t have a lot of space to put your things on, not even a shampoo and soap holder in the shower area. One of our companions got stuck inside the toilet and it took them almost an hour to get it opened. They knew all along that the toilet door locks were defective and yet they didn’t do anything to prevent people from using it. It is negligence on the part of the hotel.

Very walkable location about 10 min from train station, across from Bryggen (had a room with a view), 10 min walk from the funicular up the mountain. 15 minute walk from the harbor. Good WiFi. Helpful front desk. Lovely breakfast with good choices and gluten free options. Nice size bathroom. What’s not to love!

We stayed here for 2 nights before boarding our ship for the 7 day coastal voyage

The station is about 700m from the hotel. Unfortunately it rained as is common in Bergen on our way to the hotel

Location is great, looking into Bryggen across the harbour. Very central to many attractions like the Floibanen

Room was adequate, nice size bathroom. Quiet stay

We did not get the best service from one of the reception staff who also didn't know the city to well. This was made up for by 1 of the restaurant staff from Poland who was most helpful and able to tell us about many attractions and directions

There are many other restaurants close by and a supermarket around the corner as well as tourist offices just behind the hotel, close to the water

We would stay here again

Très bonne expérience: emplacement idéal (on ne peut pas mieux), chambre magique avec vue sublime, personnel sympa, petit déjeuner copieux...
Et silence total.

Franchement le seul défaut a été que ma chambre était un peu froide. Le problème a été résolu par l'équipe.

I booked this hotel for my parents as they were visiting me, in December. First we checked in to room on the 2nd floor where your view is the bar and kitchen.

The next morning my parents needed to change the room. Because my parents couldn’t sleep when the kitchen and bar were cleaning with those wine bottles and glasses clanging in the middle of the night, for almost two hours. I don’t even understand why the hotel has this room. On top of that, the ventilation in the room was so bad that my papa couldn’t breathe.

Breakfast was excellent. I was SO IN LOVE with bacon.

Hi! I had the pleasure to stay four nights in a very cosy room in Hotel Kløverhuset and had an awesome experience. The staff is incredibly friedly and happy to help (just like all folks I met in Bergen). Hotel Kløverhusets location is just perfect, everything a tourist needs/wants is in 5min reach (Fjord Cruise, Convinience Store, Fish Market, Fløibanen, Brygge, etc.). Don't ever miss the breakfest, it's the best I ever had in a Hotel.
Tusen takk, jeg kommer helt sikkert tilbake ☺️????

Imøtekommende og hyggelige ansatte. Flotte og store rom med gode senger og flott utsikt over bryggen. God frukost. Perfekt beliggenhet. Vi kommet igjen!
