"The lady of the house, Aud Melås, gave up a promising career at a successful high-tech company (and previously as a manager at a Japanese commercial bank) in the United States to start a new business in a fjord-side village on one of the arms of the Sognefjord. Accompanying them on their journey back to their roots was the latest incarnation of Ægir himself - the brewer and bartender of the Viking gods - her husband Evan Lewis, with his brewing diploma from the Scandinavian Brewing School in Copenhagen.
