Daily trains to Oslo, Bodø and Sweden. Regional trains and bus departures to the airport. The bus station is next to the train station. Tip: take the night trains if you want to save time. To give you an idea, the journey from Trondheim to Oslo takes about 7.5 hours. There are regular departures and the fares are quite affordable. On board public transport, Norwegians are often quite strict on the respect of silence.

Small and close to The fjord
It is small like all The Rail station of norway (i did not see Oslo). The ticket office is very small with just Two desks of which one was closed when i arrived. The Lady however was kind to reply all our questions. Just one place for sandwich.
In Norway, the distances train, it takes a long time! For trains go far (Bodo, Oslo, prefer the night trains. The seats are reclining and NSB railway company offers all travellers a blanket, hide- eyes and jams of ears. For the same price that the day you all the comfort to sleep.
