TAVERN PÅ SVERRESBORG
In a completely different setting, here is a log house located inside the Sverresborg Open Air Museum (by bus no. 8 or 9 in the Dronningensgate, to Wullumsgården). This old inn, several hundred years old, is full of nooks and crannies, and the staircase leading to the first floor is quite steep. The establishment offers many small intimate rooms that can be booked at no extra cost (for a minimum of 6 people). The local cuisine offers regional specialities, such as rømmegrøt (porridge) with cinnamon and melted butter, or an assortment of pickled and pickled salmon in mustard sauce. For children, kjøttkaker menu (meatballs in sauce).
