In this cemetery with its tropical air, you'll find a church with Ionic-Doric architecture, inspired by the Madeleine church in Paris, built between 1885 and 1922. It's a beautiful place, open 24 hours a day, and you won't know which way to turn between the crypts and mausoleums. Important Nicaraguan figures are buried here, including artists and politicians... among them the famous poet Pablo Antonio Cuadra, who founded the Vanguardia literary movement in Granada in 1931.
