This museum, founded by Doña Carmen Toruño, is doubly worth a visit. Firstly, because this house housed the "Cárcel 21" (place of torture) from 1921 onwards (reopened more peacefully to the public in 2000!), and secondly, because it tells the story not only of this place of horror, but also of all the wonderful, incredible and astounding stories that have surrounded the city of León since its foundation. You'll see puppets and procession figures.

I found this museum very interesting. It can be visited with or without a guide {you can give the somme that you want}. I would take a guide because otherwise we do not have any explanations on the various drawings, attire worn by various people, legends etc... 20 cordobas the entrance.
