It is a Salvadoran government organization dedicated to the preservation of nature. It co-manages and protects major natural areas in El Salvador: El Imposible and Los Volcanes national parks, as well as Parque Bicentenario in San Salvador. A turtle protection program, called SalvaTORTUGA, has also been launched to protect the country's marine turtles and their environment, while involving local communities. Finally, the organization promotes sustainable and fair farming.
