CASA BLANCA
An archaeological site that once played an important ceremonial role, featuring anthropomorphic and zoomorphic sculptures.
The archeological site of Casa Blanca has not really been restored, and that's a good thing: here, imaginative visitors can recreate the atmosphere of days gone by. The site is thought to have played an important ceremonial role in pre-Columbian times. The anthropomorphic and zoomorphic sculptures discovered on the site and now on display at the museum are truly striking. The museum offers an interesting panorama of local culture, with intelligent commentary. There is also a workshop whereañil (indigo) is worked by hand.
