PARQUE CONCORDIA

The central park, or Parque Concordia, is a safe, clean meeting place where Ahuachapencos gather at all times of the day and evening to feast. It is lined with small restaurants and cafés, as well as street vendors selling pupusas, fruit and sweets. You'll love sitting on a bench to enjoy the shade and the village atmosphere. You can also visit the Nuestra Señora de la Asunción church, which also borders the park and is a place of pilgrimage.
