The Alfred Espino Center for Culture and the Arts is a beautiful 19th-century azure-blue building. Formerly an Ahuachapenco casino, it has been restored to become a cultural venue where music concerts, recitals and ballets are held on weekends. During the week, it's a favorite spot for schoolchildren, who can take part in all kinds of cultural activities. A small painting exhibition room is also reserved for Salvadoran artists.
