Sells high-quality handicrafts, at a slightly higher price than what you'll find on the street, but genuinely made in El Salvador (some Guatemalan craftsmen too) and supporting local cooperatives. Coffee is also available. The store is beautifully laid out and each item has a label explaining its provenance. Like Ataco's sister store, Axul d'Apaneca was opened by Salvadoran entrepreneurs Cristina and Álvaro.
