This 8-metre-high lighthouse inaugurated on June 12, 2014 at La Unión in the Parquecito serves as a lookout for the Conchagüita Islands.
Inaugurated on June 12, 2014, the 8-metre-high La Unión lighthouse is located in the Parquecito. It can accommodate up to 25 people simultaneously, serves as a watchtower and provides views of the Gulf's thirty-five islands, including Conchagüita, Martín Pérez, Meanguera, Meanguerita, Pirigallo and Zacatillo. Zacatillo served as a prison for almost twenty-five years in the first half of the 20th century.
