CASCADA DE LOS TERCIOS
A pretty and interesting waterfall with polyhedral columns about 30 meters high, 2 kilometers from the village.
Just 2 kilometers from the village, the waters of the beautiful Los Tercios waterfall tumble down. Its polyhedral columns, some 30 meters high, are an interesting curiosity. A must-see between May and October; during the rest of the year, in the dry season, the waters of the waterfall frequently dry up. The surrounding park also features two viewpoints from which to admire Lake Suchitlán and relax in hammocks. Bring binoculars if you want to try your hand at birdwatching. Access is easy by tuk-tuk.
