The Honduran National Identity Museum is one of Tegucigalpa's must-sees. A visit reveals the country's contemporary artists, as well as its history and culture. The exhibits are interactive and interesting. In particular, a short film on the Mayan ruins of Copán is shown, a kind of virtual tour of the site. A place well worth a visit, located in a superb historic building, a former hospital that has been magnificently restored and maintained.
