The Casa de la Cultura is a small museum providing a wealth of information on Lenca culture. You can see ceramics and weavings, for example, and learn more about Lenca history. Events are sometimes organized: for example, the Casa has hosted the Honduran Folk Ballet and exhibitions by Honduran artists. Don't hesitate to ask for more information. The Casa is located in the Gobernación building, a well-preserved colonial structure that was one of La Esperanza's first town halls.
