The small village of El Porvenir is located 4 km from the town of Siguatepeque (note: there are several municipalities with this name in Honduras. We're talking here about the one in the department of Comayagua). A visit here is well worthwhile: the village is renowned for its clay artisans. You can follow the manufacturing process and, of course, buy some beautiful sculptures. You can get there by taking the RN22 road. There are also restaurants and accommodation.
