To the west, "Coca-Cola" beach is the most popular in the area (the ridiculous name derives from the North American trademark in the area), but it's nothing to write home about, even if it has recently become cleaner. The beaches of the village of Cieneguita, even further west, are more beautiful. The restaurant at the Hotel Playa is particularly renowned for its seafood, and Roberto Alvarez Junior can be found there offering 4-hour or multi-day mountain bike excursions to the cuencas or caves of the Tullían and Omoa ríos.
