One of the most emblematic monuments of the city remains the Caxa Real built between 21 February 1739 and 1741. During the colonial era, the building housed the Taxes Quintos Reales and the treasures of the city. Destroyed by earthquakes, it was renovated to allow it to resume its functions of the past. Thus, it became the headquarters of the Mint Museum, where interesting exhibits of all ages are displayed. A real national treasure!
