In the 16th century, it was the town's parade ground. Today, it's more of a garden, a place to relax with its fountain, cafés and bandstand where live music is performed. Be sure to stop by during your stay in Comayagua, as it's the ideal place to soak up the city's atmosphere. The special feature of this square is its pebble mosaic. From the top of the clock tower, you can see the cathedral and its clock drawn on the square's parterre.
