From La Avispa, you can reach the Agua Buena cerro (1,433 m altitude) through coffee trees and part of the cloud forest (1 h up to the forest, easy trail to follow with the yellow arrows; more complicated afterwards, the trail almost disappears, guidebook recommended ; superb views from the summit, possibility of camping there if you are equipped, for an unforgettable sunrise) before continuing on to the village of the same name, and joining the main road between Juticalpa and Catacamas at Tempisque (then take the bus from Catacamas).
