LES PLAGES D'ISLA DEL TIGRE

Isla del Tigre has several beaches, each with its own natural features.
PLAYA EL BURRO
The beach faces the mainland, and there are boat links to the town of Coyolito. It's a great place to stay and enjoy the island's peaceful lifestyle. There are several accommodation options, including the Casa de Huespedes Veleros, which also serves as a restaurant (recommended). The beach is really pretty, but the water is not very healthy (perhaps because this side of the island overlooks the inlet).
PLAYA EL ZAPOTE
Loners can go to Playa El Zapote and sleep with locals or rent a small house (there are some nice ones). This is one of the island's only white-sand beaches.
PLAYA GRANDE
From the other side of Amalpa, you can reach the popular Playa Grande, where you can eat in a typical restaurant and perhaps take a dip; the Cueva de la Sirena to the north (a cave of volcanic origin) is said to house one of the countless treasures that pirate Francis Drake is said to have hidden around the world.
PLAYA NEGRA
After Playa Grande, we continue on to Playa Negra, home to the hotel of the same name, which offers several beach bungalows, a swimming pool and a good restaurant. Perhaps the most comfortable establishment on the island.
PLAYA BRAVA
This small beach is close to the Mirador Las Islitas, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the golf course and the islands.
And that's just a selection!
