This museum was created in 1997, under the impetus of Gladys Fasquelle, an environmental activist. Its aim is to raise public awareness of the need to protect nature and forest areas, and to welcome citizens, tourists and students. Renovated in 2010 and again in 2022, it features exhibitions on the natural environment, resources and biology of Honduras. In particular, you'll be able to see a collection dedicated to the birds, mammals and reptiles that can be encountered on the territory.
