Yes, he blocked the boschevics on 1920 when they tried to export communist revolution to The Western europe. He commanded the polish troops on vistula river. They were 1:4in number.

Le monument du maréchal Józef Piłsudski a été financé par les habitants de Varsovie en remerciement pour avoir remporté la bataille de Varsovie en 1920 et ainsi sauver l'indépendance de la République Polonaise dans la guerre polonaise-bolchevique.
La sculpture du projet de Stanisław Ostrowski s'est tenue devant le Belvedere en 1998.
Il présente le maréchal la tête baissée, posant les deux mains sur l'épée.
