Between 1681 and 1687, by order of Dominik Mikołaj Radziwiłł, supervised by architect Tylman van Gameren, the palace was erected in Baroque style. Owned by the Radziwiłł family until the early 19th century, it was sold in 1823 to Ludwik Michał Pac. The latter commissioned a reconstruction in classical style, carried out by architect Enrico Marconi. Damaged during the Second World War, the palace was partially rebuilt after the war, between 1948 and 1951. Today, it houses the Ministry of Health.
