This museum engages visitors in an immersive experience, with recordings, videos, installations and thematic rooms. It presents a rich and detailed account of Chopin's life. In the basement, a listening room with digital books allows visitors to discover wonderful recordings of the master's work. The museum, located a stone's throw from Nowy Swiat, is housed in the superb Ostrogski Palace, which in the 19th-20th centuries was the seat of the Conservatory.

Personnellement très décevant, les documents ne sont pas mis en valeur, manque d'éclairage pour certains objets.Seul la beauté du bâtiment est intéressante.

Pour ceux qui admire Chopin - le lieu de culte. Pour les autres le lieu pour faire connaissance avec la vie de Lui. On peut ecouter la music, jouer, regarder...

Joli et très intéressant musée que le MUSEE CHOPIN de Varsovie ! et heureusement qu'il y a cela, car , comparée à Cracovie ( où je me suis "régalée" dans la vieille ville médiévale ! ) , Varsovie n'est pas si jolie , à part son MUSEE CHOPIN , vous qui aimez la musique : alors, absolument " à voir" et les polonais sont des ge ns si accueillants , que , même s'ils ne comprennnet pas toujours ce que vous dites ( même en anglais ! ) ils feront l'effort et vous lirez dans leur yeux le piano de Frédéric Chopin : A NE PAS LOUPER !
