Just a stone's throw from the old town, amidst the signs for tourists, nestles a typically Polish café, decorated in a slightly old-fashioned style, whose friendly elegance is appropriately combined with kitsch. A good stop for a coffee or hot chocolate break, accompanied by some delicious cakes. In this establishment, there's no room for subtlety: the doses, like the quantities, of sugar, chocolate and whipped cream are very generous. You've been warned! The places are still rather expensive by Polish standards.
