The Gothic castle is the symbol of the town. On a knoll overlooking the river, this 14th-century brick edifice was a key element in Prussia's defensive system on its long eastern frontier. In the 16th century, it lost its importance and became the hunting residence of the bishops of Warmie. In 1795, the Prussians turned it into a prison. Today, it houses a modern art gallery and hotel rooms (see website). The dungeon tower offers a fine view of the old town and the castle's surroundings.

Château Reszel

L'atmosphère unique et mystérieuse du vieux château, les intérieurs gothiques, la charmante ville au pied de la forteresse et les beaux paysages de Mazurie.
Depius nombreuses années, le château a été un lieu d'événements internationaux - expositions, réunions, plein air, conférences, etc.
